Gogo Masechaba

Her ancestral name, Gogo Masechaba (Sotho for ‘Mother of the Nation’) reflects the principal aim of her work - to support heart-centred & empowering healing  based on creation and holding of a safe space for people to tell their stories.

Her work with individual and group clients is premised on the belief that well being is determined by the processes of the physical body, mind, emotions and spirit and interactions between our families, communities and ancestors. Her offerings, tailored to individual client needs, combine indigenous Afrikan practices with contemporary modalities to support  holistic well-being.

Her focus is to bridge different belief systems and make this work accessible to people of different backgrounds. She offers gentle and loving holding in support of radical healing and transformation and specializes in participatory group facilitation, coaching and training through her extensive experience in intercultural communication.

Her clients include South Africans and foreigners alike, from a variety of different backgrounds and belief systems.

She recently worked with the Q’ero shamans in Peru on a 10day  African/Andean Fusion Tour
